Public estimates are not confirmed balances owed to you; ownership, territory, reporting periods, and prior payments need to be checked.

Why is my MLC money unmatched?

Missing registrations, incomplete ownership information, or recordings not linked to a work can prevent streaming activity from matching correctly. A public lookup can flag a possible issue, but account data and supporting documentation are needed to confirm what happened.

Can someone claim royalties on my songs without me knowing?

Accepted Answer

Claims can come from publishers, administrators, or other rightsholders. Review the available claims and ownership details against your agreements before deciding whether a correction or dispute is needed. A third-party claim alone does not establish that anything is wrong.

Free Scan and Artist take no percentage of your royalties. Artist is a paid subscription. Publishing Admin has no monthly fee and charges 5 percent of royalties we collect for you, subject to your administration agreement.

The initial artist check and Free Scan account are free. Artist costs $12 billed monthly or $120 billed annually and adds guided fixes and monitoring. Publishing Admin is by application, with no monthly fee and a 5 percent fee on royalties we collect for you. Choose a paid plan when you are ready to act.
